Calcium Octoate 5% Solution is an organometallic compound comprising 5% calcium content dissolved in mineral spirits. It serves as an auxiliary drier in paint formulations, enhancing the drying process and improving the hardness and gloss of the paint film. This solution is particularly effective when combined with other driers like cobalt and manganese, and is suitable for use in alkyd finishes.

Store in a well-ventilated area away from heat and flames. Handle with protective gloves and equipment. Spills should be contained and cleaned up according to regulatory guidelines.
