Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a water-soluble polymer derived from natural cellulose, widely utilized in the oil and gas industry for its exceptional thickening, water retention, and stabilizing properties. In drilling operations, CMC enhances fluid viscosity, reduces fluid loss, and stabilizes wellbore integrity, thereby improving drilling performance and efficiency.
