Cetearyl Alcohol is a mixture of cetyl (C16) and stearyl (C18) alcohols, commonly used as an emulsifier, emollient, and thickening agent in cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations. It enhances the texture and stability of products like lotions, creams, shampoos, and conditioners.

Typical applications include emulsifier in cosmetic formulations, thickening agent in creams and lotions, stabilizer in emulsions, emollient in skin care products and viscosity controlling agent in shampoos and conditioners. It is supplied as technical grade for industrial process duty, ≥95%. Cetearyl Alcohol is available in 25 kg drum, 50 kg drum, 100 kg drum, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
