Anhydrous citric acid is a naturally occurring organic acid widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. It appears as colorless, odorless crystals with a strong, pleasant sour taste and a slightly astringent aftertaste. The substance is hygroscopic and sensitive to moisture, gradually weathering in warm air and slightly deliquescent in humid environments.

Typical applications include food and beverage industry as an acidity regulator and preservative, pharmaceutical industry for drug formulation and as a stabilizing agent, chemical industry in the production of detergents and cleaning agents, cosmetic industry for pH adjustment and as a chelating agent and acidity regulation in soft drinks, juices and cordials. It is supplied as technical grade for industrial process duty, ≥99%. Citric Acid Anhydrous is available in 25 kg bags, 50 kg drums, 1000 kg bulk containers, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Nairobi, Mombasa, Uasin Gishu (Eldoret), Kajiado, Murang'a, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua and Busia and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo.
