Hydrofluoric Acid, 2% (v/v), Ricca Chemical is a colorless, fuming aqueous solution with a pungent odor, primarily used in laboratory applications for etching and oxide removal.

Typical applications include semiconductor manufacturing, glass etching, metal cleaning, analytical chemistry and hard surface cleaner and disinfectant manufacture. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from incompatible materials such as alkalis, metals, and strong bases. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, protective clothing, and eye/face protection. Ensure proper ventilation to avoid inhalation of fumes.
