Malic acid is a naturally occurring organic compound found in various fruits, notably apples and pears. It is commonly used in the food and beverage industry as a flavor enhancer, acidity regulator, and preservative. Available in L-form (CAS 97-67-6), D-form (CAS 617-48-1), and DL-form (CAS 6915-15-7), malic acid is produced through the hydration of fumaric or maleic acid. It is recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a safe food additive.

Malic Acid is available in 25 kg fiber drum, 500 g plastic container, 1 kg foil pouch, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Nairobi, Kisumu, Nyeri, Meru, Kericho, Bungoma, Embu and Kirinyaga and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents and strong bases. Use appropriate personal protective equipment during handling.
