n-Hexane is a colorless, flammable liquid with a petroleum-like odor. It is commonly used as a solvent in various industrial applications and as a reference substance in gas chromatography. n-Hexane is less dense than water and insoluble in water, with vapors heavier than air.

Typical applications include solvent in industrial processes, reference substance in gas chromatography, extraction of vegetable oils, cleaning agent in laboratories and thinning and viscosity adjustment of paints and coatings. It is supplied as technical grade for industrial process duty, ≥99.7%. n-Hexane is available in 1 L glass bottle, 4 L glass bottle, 20 L metal drum, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Mombasa, Kisumu, Machakos, Kajiado, Kericho, Murang'a, Kirinyaga and Narok and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces. Keep container tightly closed. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Avoid breathing vapors. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye protection. In case of fire: Use dry sand, dry chemical, or alcohol-resistant foam for extinction.
