Sodium Amyl Xanthate (SAX) is a high-collecting-power xanthate used in selected copper, nickel, and precious-metal-bearing sulfide circuits. It is a pale yellow to cream powder or pellets, soluble in water, and decomposes easily in the presence of acid and heat, releasing toxic, highly flammable carbon disulfide. SAX has a very pungent odor.

Sodium Amyl Xanthate is available in 25 kg moisture-barrier bag, 40 kg moisture-barrier bag, 50 kg moisture-barrier bag, 110 kg UN-rated steel drum, 120 kg UN-rated steel drum, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Mombasa, Uasin Gishu (Eldoret), Kajiado, Kericho, Kakamega, Kilifi, Kirinyaga and Busia and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo. Store in tightly closed, moisture-resistant original packaging in a cool, dry, shaded, and well-ventilated area. Keep away from acids, oxidizers, water, heat, sparks, flames, and direct sunlight. Control inventory age because xanthates decompose during prolonged or warm storage.
