Sodium Formate (CAS 141-53-7) is a white crystalline solid with the chemical formula CHNaO₂. It is commonly used in the production of formic acid, as a de-icing agent, and in leather tanning processes. The substance is soluble in water and stable under ambient storage conditions.

Typical applications include production of formic acid, De-icing agent, leather tanning, chemical synthesis and sequestering hardness in detergent formulation. It is supplied as technical grade for industrial process duty, ≥99.5%. Sodium Formate is available in 25 kg bags, 50 kg drums, 1000 kg bulk containers, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Nakuru, Kajiado, Nyeri, Trans Nzoia (Kitale), Murang'a, Laikipia (Nanyuki), Kirinyaga and Nyandarua and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo.
