Sodium Hydrosulfite, also known as Sodium dithionite or Sodium hypodisulfite, is a white crystalline powder primarily used as a reducing agent in various industrial applications, including water treatment, gas purification, and textile processing. It is also utilized in the stabilization of polyacrylamide polymers in enhanced oil recovery processes.

Typical applications include water treatment scale and corrosion inhibition, gas purification, textile processing and bleach stabilisation, leather industry and polymer stabilization in enhanced oil recovery. It is supplied as technical grade for industrial process duty, ≥85%. Sodium Hydrosulfite, Technical Grade, 85% is available in 25 g, 100 g, 1 kg, 2 kg, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Nairobi, Mombasa, Kiambu, Bungoma, Kilifi, Laikipia (Nanyuki), Narok and Nyandarua and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Store away from incompatible materials such as strong acids and oxidizing agents. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling.

P305+P351+P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
