Sodium Metasilicate Pentahydrate is a white crystalline powder with the chemical formula Na₂SiO₃·5H₂O and a molecular weight of 212.14 g/mol. It is soluble in cold water and has a melting point of 1088°C. This compound is commonly used in detergents, water treatment, ceramics, textiles, pulp and paper, construction, and fireproofing applications.
