Sodium Xylene Sulfonate (SXS) is an anionic surfactant and hydrotrope commonly used in liquid cleaning and detergent formulations. It acts as a coupling agent, reducing cloudiness and separating phases in concentrated solutions, while improving product performance and appearance. SXS is also applied in textiles, leather processing, and agricultural chemicals as a dispersant and solubilizer.

Typical applications include household and industrial cleaners, detergents and liquid laundry products, personal care (shampoos, body washes, cosmetics), textiles and leather processing and oilfield and agricultural chemicals. It is supplied as technical grade for industrial process duty, ≥ 90%. Sodium Xylene Sulfonate is available in 15 kg bag - powder, 200 kg HDPE drums - liquid, 1000 kg IBC - liquid, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Mombasa, Kisumu, Uasin Gishu (Eldoret), Machakos, Kajiado, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia (Kitale) and Laikipia (Nanyuki) and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo. Store in a cool, dry place in closed containers. Avoid exposure to moisture and incompatible materials. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling. Ensure adequate ventilation in work areas. In case of spills, contain and clean up immediately, disposing of waste in accordance with local regulations.
