Stearic acid, also known as octadecanoic acid, is a saturated fatty acid commonly found in animal and vegetable fats. It appears as a white to off-white waxy solid and is widely used in industries such as cosmetics, soaps, plastics, and rubber processing.

Typical applications include emulsifier in cosmetics and personal care products, hardening agent in soaps, plasticizer in plastics, activator in rubber vulcanization and candle and wax product manufacture. It is supplied as industrial grade for general process and manufacturing duty, ≥97.5%. Stearic Acid is available in 25 kg bags, 50 kg bags, Jumbo bags, and we repack to suit your handling setup. Every delivery carries the manufacturer Certificate of Analysis for the batch supplied together with a full Safety Data Sheet, and lot numbers stay traceable to the manufacturing run.
Delivery covers Kiambu, Machakos, Nyeri, Kericho, Murang'a, Laikipia (Nanyuki), Kirinyaga and Nyandarua and the rest of Kenya, with regular export shipments to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and eastern DR Congo. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
