Zinc stearate is a white, hydrophobic powder with a slight, characteristic odor. It is widely used as a lubricant, release agent, and stabilizer in plastics, rubber, and cosmetics. In plastics and rubber processing, it improves mold release, reduces friction, and acts as an anti-blocking agent in powdered formulations. In cosmetics, it serves as a thickening agent and stabilizer.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and dust masks when handling.
